A New Dawn!

Welcome to Galad Consulting! I decided that the time was right to make the leap of faith and set up a technology consulting firm aimed at helping non-profits work smarter and more efficiently. Maybe launching during a global pandemic with forest fires threatening our home in Guerneville is not ideal, but if there is anything that I have learned in the two decades that I have been working with non-profit organizations it is the power of adaptation. Sometimes you just have to play the hand you are dealt and make the most of it. The organizations that I have worked with have shown me a thing or two about resiliency too. And hope. These are indeed challenging times for us all, but light will conquer darkness and it will get better.

In this new blog, I will be sharing some insights that I have picked up over the years working in the non-profit sector with technology. I’ll cover technological advancements and highlight solutions from peers and industry leaders that might be useful for non-profit and education organizations. My experience covers homeless services, HIV/AIDS, toxic stress, and both visual and performing arts, so you can expect some posts covering news and fun facts from all those sectors. It will be eclectic. Glad to have you along for this big milestone and looking forward to the journey ahead!
